Diesel Power Plant MAN 57.9 MW / 50 Hz – 2014
This diesel power plant comprises three identical MAN 18V48/60 TS diesel generating units, each rated at 19.3 MW, with complete auxiliaries.
The engines operate at 500 rpm, are turbocharged with intercooling, and are mounted on a base frame that serves as a wet oil sump. The plant has recorded only ~5,000 operating hours since new.
The alternators are ABB synchronous generators, air-cooled, with their own lubrication oil systems. They are installed on concrete foundations and connected to the engines via flexible couplings.
Cooling is provided by two separate engine cooling circuits connected to a radiator cooling system.
The control system is MAN SaCoS One.
The 11 kV circuit breakers are Siemens SF6 type.
The plant remains installed, fully operational, and in excellent technical condition
