Product Description
CHP Power Plant with 2 x CAT 1.2 MW / 50Hz Gas Generators – 2013
Complete, well maintained Combined Heat and Power plant build in year 2013 by local CAT dealer with two CAT G3516C gas engine driven generators coupled with heat recovery systems for hot water production. The plant was in operation till mid 2016 and currently installed and powered. Heat recovery systems have two circuits, one for engine jacket water and second stage of charge air cooler and another circuit for the first stage of charge air cooler and exhaust gas heat recovery. Exhaust gas tubular heat exchangers have exhaust gas by-pass option. Total accumulated operating hours are 16000 and 19000 hours only. Engines has been serviced by a local CAT dealer in accordance with maintenance manual and they haven’t had any major breakdowns. Engine control system is standard CAT model with Siemens logic, switchgears and step-up transformers are made by Schneider. The building contains a separate switchgear room and a liquid storage room. It is a lightweight construction based on a steel structure covered with sandwich panels and inside engine room, there is installed a noise insulation material.
