General:-

“What is IndustrialMachines.net?”
IndustrialMachines.net is an online marketing platform allowing both buyers and sellers worldwide to connect directly on a business to business basis. A wide variety of new and used machinery is available on the website, which is owned and advertised by hundreds of stockists; across many different industrial sectors.
“I am unable to log into my account, what do I do?”
The Password field is case sensitive; so please ensure Caps Lock is not on. If you have forgotten your Password, please use the Reset my Password link to generate a new one.
“How do I receive the Monthly Trade Updates?”
Click Here to subscribe. If your email has not previously been registered, you will be asked to enter some basic contact information. An email will be generated to you, in order to verify the email address you wish to register. Without verifying, please be aware you will not be able to subscribe to the Monthly Trade Updates. You will then be directed to the Subscription Selection screen. Click the Monthly Trade Updates button and select the Industry Sector/s you are interested in. Once you have made your selection/s, click the Update button to save the changes.
“Does it cost me anything to receive the Monthly Trade Updates?”
No. Our Monthly Trade Updates are free!
“How do I remove myself from the mailing list or update my industry sectors?”
You can access the Subscription Management page via the Home page (under Join Our Network), or within your User Area (only available to those Users who have a registered account and are logged in). Simply enter your registered email address and click the Monthly Trade Updates option. To update the changes click the Update button and to unsubscribe, click the Unsubscribe button. You will receive an email asking you to confirm these changes before they will take effect.
“If I subscribe, will I receive emails from 3rd party companies?”
No. Your contact details are not shared or passed onto any third party organisations. Information is strictly used for our Industrialmachines.net Monthly Trade Updates &/or Instant Machine Notifications.
“I have registered for the Instant Machine Notifications, but I have not received any emails?”
Please be aware that we cannot guarantee that a machine matching your request will be posted to the website during the period in which you have subscribed to be notified. You are welcome to increase the subscription period for a particular notification via the Subscription Management page. You can access this page within your User Area (only available if you are a registered User and logged in) or via the Home page (under Join Our Network). Simply enter your registered email address into the field and click the Instant Machine Notification option. If you decide to increase the notification period, you will receive an email asking you to verify the changes before they take effect.
“I am no longer looking for a particular machine, so I do not need to receive any more Instant Machine Notifications, what do I do?”
If you no longer wish to receive the Instant Machine Notifications for a particular machine, you can unsubscribe at any time. Simply go to the Subscription Management page via the Home page (under Join Our Network) or within your User Area (only available if you are a registered User and logged in), enter your registered email address and click the Instant Machine Notification option. By clicking the Unsubscribe button all notification requests will be removed from your email account. You will receive an email asking you to confirm these changes before they will take effect.
“I would like to set up a link exchange with IndustrialMachines.net. How can I do this?”

Buyers:-

“How do I find equipment on IndustrialMachines.net?"
There are various options available in order to search for machinery. Please take a look at our Buy Machines page for full details and instructions. IndustrialMachines.net does not own/sell the equipment listed on the website. We are unable to provide any information and prices on the machines; it is at the seller’s discretion as to what information they include on their adverts.
"What do I do once I've found a machine I'm interested in?"
Once you have located machinery which you are interested to purchase and/or receive further information on, simply click onto the Make/Model or thumbnail image; to be taken to the Machine Details page. Here you can view further technical specification, photos and video (if available).
“How do I contact the seller?”
On the Machine Details page, click the ‘Send an Enquiry’ button. You will be presented with a simple enquiry form, enter your basic contact information and your message. If you are logged into your User Account, the fields will be auto-populated with the information you entered at the registration stage, saving you time! To send your request directly to the seller, click the ‘Send Your Enquiry’ button. We do ask that you allow up to 48 hours to receive a reply to your enquiry and to please also monitor your junk emails.
"What happens if I make an enquiry on a machine and the seller does not respond?"
If the 48 hour period has passed and you still have not received a reply, please email Contact@IndustrialMachines.net and provide us with the machine details and/or reference number/s; so that we are able to identify the seller/s. Alternatively please refer to the email you received after sending the enquiry, and contact the seller directly using the details provided to you.
"What can I do if I cannot find the machine I'm looking for?"
If you search via our Quick Search, Reference Search or Advanced Search options, and the website is unable to match your criteria; you will be re-directed to a page providing some guidance and a link to our Wanted page.

Alternatively, if you have searched via our Browse page and cannot see the machine you are looking for within the list of results, you can access the Wanted form by clicking the link located on the left hand side of the page, below the ‘Refine Your Search’ options. Simply enter your basic contact information (form will be auto-populated if you are logged into your User Area); select the Industry you would like your enquiry to be sent to, and provide details on the machine/s you are looking to purchase.

Your message will be sent to our registered sellers under the industry sector you have selected, and if they can supply you with a suitable machine; they will contact you directly. Please be aware that we are unable to guarantee you will receive a reply to your request in this instance.
“Do I need to register in order to send enquiries/buy machinery?”
You are not required to register in order to contact sellers and/or purchase machinery via the website. We do however, provide an option for you register as a Buyer should you wish to (not required if you have a Sellers account). It is free to do so and benefits include: Pre-Fixed Contact Details (Enquiry Form will be Auto-Populated with your Contact Details – Saving you Valuable Time!) and Management of your Monthly Trade Updates and Instant Machine Notifications.

If you would like to register as a Buyer, on the enquiry form, please tick the box which states ‘Save My Details’. After sending the enquiry, you will be prompted to enter a Password. An email will then be generated to you in order to verify the registration.
“I am interested in a particular type of machine; can I be notified if it posted onto the website?”
Yes! We have an Instant Machine Notification option, which allows you to register your interest in a particular type of machine. As soon as a machine similar to the type you have registered interest in has been posted, you will receive an email notifying you; with a direct link to the machine on the website. Simply enter your email address (if you are not already registered, you will be prompted to enter some basic contact information) and select the Instant Machine Notifications option. You can run multiple notifications at any one time and can manage your preferences within your User Area (only available if you have a registered account and are logged in) or via the Home page (under Join Our Network). You can register for a period of 30, 60, 90 or 120 days and can unsubscribe at any time. You will also have the option to register after sending an enquiry on a similar type of machine.
“How do I buy machinery via IndustrialMachines.net?”
If you wish to proceed to purchase a machine you have viewed on the website, please open all discussions/negotiations directly with the seller. IndustrialMachines.net has no involvement with any correspondence or transactions between the buyer and seller; and we do not charge any commission/fees for any purchases generated through our network.
“Does IndustrialMachines.net guarantee the credibility of the seller?”
IndustrialMachines.net will not guarantee the credibility of a seller. If in doubt, we suggest that you request references and/or instruct a local inspection agency to view the machine on your behalf before parting with any monies.

If there is a problem with a seller, we would ask that you notify us with as much detail as possible; so that we may investigate and mediate a resolution where possible. If a seller is found to be conducting business fraudulently, we will instantly remove them from the website and block them from future access. We are also working closely with Action Fraud and will file a report on the company.
“Does IndustrialMachines.net guarantee the quality of the equipment listed on the website?”
IndustrialMachines.net will not guarantee any of the machinery which is posted on the website. If in doubt, we would recommend asking for references and/or recruiting a local inspection agency to view the machine on your behalf, before parting with any monies.

Sellers:-

“How do I become a seller on IndustrialMachines.net?”
In order to register to become an advertiser on IndustrialMachines.net, please Click Here and fill out the form. After receiving your request, a member of the IndustrialMachines.net team will contact you to further understand your requirements, so that we may offer you the most suitable package. Once approved, you will receive an email containing a link enabling you to complete your registration and set an account Password.
“Do I have to pay to use IndustrialMachines.net?”
Sellers are charged a flat monthly fee for listing their equipment, but we do not charge any commission for any successful sales generated through our website. You will not be tied into any form of contract and free to cancel the agreement at any time. Please Contact Us to discuss a bespoke advertising package.
“I would like to promote a particular machine, is it possible?”
Yes. IndustrialMachines.net offers its members the option to promote an advert as a Featured Machine. This Featured Machine will take priority within industry related Search Results, will appear on the Home page, will appear at the top of the Latest Machines page/s and will also appear at the top of the industry related Monthly Trade Updates. Links to the Featured Machine/s will also be placed on our Facebook and Twitter accounts. It will remain a Featured Machine for a period of 1 Month and you will be a charged a one off fee of £25 GBP.

In order to make a machine Featured, on the Add a Machine or Edit pages, simply select the option and confirm you understand the terms. The additional charge will appear on your invoice as Featured Advert. IndustrialMachines.net reserves the right to modify the conditions of this offer at any time, and without prior notice; and you agree in full to the most recent version of the offer.
“Should I include prices on my listing?”
It is at our member’s discretion as to whether they would like to include prices on their adverts.
“How can I update my company information (address, telephone, email etc…)?”
Click Here to log into your account. Select the Account tab and click Account Details to amend your Email Address and Password. To update your Company Address, Telephone Number etc…, select the Company Details link.
“What circumstances can cause an account to become suspended or removed?”
We will suspend/remove accounts if we are unable to take payment for the advertising from the credit/debit card details supplied, if there is an unpaid balance, or if fraudulent activity is taking place. We reserve the right to terminate without prior notice, any members advert or entire account, if the content or use is deemed inappropriate or harmful to the site. In such a case no refunds will be given and all future billing will cease at the point of termination.
“How do I re-activate a suspended account?”
If your account has been suspended due to invalid payment details and/or an unpaid balance, please Contact Us to find out the next steps in order to re-activate. Any unpaid balance will need to be paid in full, prior to re-activation.
“Can I pay in my local currency?”
Payments must be made in GBP (Pounds Sterling). However, payments made via debit/credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Switch), can be made from any country as the currency exchange will be calculated automatically, by the card provider. If you are paying via a Bank Transfer, you must inform your bank to make the payment in GBP (Pounds Sterling), and they will calculate the exchange rate for you. There will be an additional bank charge when paying by this method.
“Can I pay by cheque?”
Yes, if you are a company based in the UK. You can post the cheque to our office address; please Contact Us for the details.
“What payment methods are available to me?”
Cheque (UK Only), Bank/Wire Transfer & Credit/Debit Card.
“I would like to cancel my account, how can I do this?”
Should you wish to cancel your account, you are free to do so at any time. All you need to do is inform us by sending an email or calling our office. You will receive an email confirming your cancellation, and if there is an unpaid balance; we will require the full amount to be cleared within 7 Days. Any invoices which have been generated prior to cancellation, you will be liable to pay.
“A company has enquired on my machine, but I suspect that they are not genuine. What do I do?”
If you suspect any potential buyer is not genuine, please Contact Us and provide as much information as possible, so that we may take the necessary actions to block them accessing the website in the future.
